Almost three years ago, we opened an office in Western Australia, Perth, with a simple intention: be closer to the manufacturers and fabricators who keep WA moving.
What started as a new footprint has grown into a strong, expanding local operation built by listening to customers, backing the right people, and being there when it matters.
Western Australia isn’t just another pin on the map for us. It’s a region shaped by tough operating conditions, critical industries such as mining and resources, defence, shipbuilding, and heavy fabrication. Our continued investment reflects a clear commitment to support WA manufacturers with local expertise, reliable service, and long-term partnership.
Today, our WA operation includes six locally based service engineers, a dedicated technology expert with hands-on Industry 4.0 and resource sector experience, and local stock of spare parts and consumables to cut turnaround times on critical equipment.
In August 2024, we took another major step with the acquisition of Noble Industrial Machinery Repairs (NIMR). As a WA business with deep experience servicing machinery across the steel and fabrication sector, NIMR brought proven local knowledge the kind that can’t be built overnight.
And we’re not slowing down. Two more team members are joining in 2026 including a CNC service technician as customer demand continues to grow and our local team expands to meet it.
Growth announcements are easy. What matters is what changes for the people running factories and fabrication shops across WA.
Customers are already seeing the difference: more value from preventative maintenance agreements, fewer unexpected breakdowns, and less disruption to production schedules. Locally stocked spare parts are keeping mission-critical equipment running. There is someone local you can talk to.
Our local team is backed by a broader Australia and New Zealand-wide network of specialists, ensuring additional capacity and coverage across extended operating hours. Across ANZ, our 53 service engineers and 7 application engineers are all OEM-trained and ready to support when needed.
The aim is to further cross-train our engineers in additional technology to support a wider range of equipment.
You’ll also see more regular visits to WA from OEM partners and technology specialists, accelerating knowledge transfer and continuing to strengthen local expertise.
At the same time, we’re staying close to the reality manufacturers are facing: the labour market remains tight, and the pressure to lift productivity and maximise utilisation within existing facilities continues to grow. We’re focused on helping customers get more from what they already have reliably, safely, and with less downtime.
Your challenges are driving our growth. We’re expanding our capabilities in WA based on your feedback and we want to hear more.
Tell us what you’re up against. Your production challenges shape where we invest and how we grow. With a broad portfolio and local specialists on the ground, we can connect you with the right solution.
