Free Virtual Training Available for all OMAX and Headland Customers
Buying your first waterjet can be daunting. Questions around training, support and maximising your investment can be a common concern. OMAX has you covered. Below are the available online training courses available for all OMAX and Headland customers.
All of these training recordings, handouts and homework is available to all customers in the OMAX eLearning Portal.
- OMAX Operator Virtual Training, five, 3-hour sessions. This course is designed for new customers and new operators. Topics follow the eLearning modules and in person training – basically how to make a part from start to finish.
- OMAX Maintenance Virtual Training: Three, 3-hour sessions. This course covers an overview of the maintenance schedule, and how-to videos of the maintenance required on the OMAX table and EnduroMAX pump.
- MAXIEM Operator Virtual Training: Five, 3-hour sessions. This course is designed for new customers and new operators. Topics follow the eLearning modules and in person training – basically how to make a part from start to finish.
- MAXIEM Maintenance Virtual Training: Three, 3-hour sessions. This course covers an overview of the maintenance schedule, and how-to videos of the maintenance required on the MAXIEM table and MAXIEM pump.
- A-Jet Programming and Operation Virtual Training: Two, 3-hour sessions. Designed for new or existing customers. Topics cover some basics about the A-Jet, with focus on how to program a 3D bevel part from beginning to end using XData. We also cover how to set up, operate, and calibrate the A-Jet on both the OMAX and MAXIEM waterjets for optimal performance.
- A-Jet Service/Maintenance Virtual Training: Two, 3-hour sessions. This course covers common service and maintenance tasks for the A-Jet accessory on either the OMAX or MAXIEM equipment. The major tasks we cover include Replacing the A-Jet Abrasive Feed Tube, Rebuilding the A-Jet Inlet Body and Pull-To-Open Valve, A-Jet Hardware and Component Alignment, A-Jet Tilt Nipple Replacement and Swivel Rebuild, A-Jet Rotary Nipple Replacement, A-Jet Shear Screw Replacement, and post-maintenance activities.
- A-Jet Terrain Follower Virtual Training: One, 1.5-hour session. This short course covers what the Terrain Follower is and does, and best practices for installing the Terrain Follower accessory for optimum use on the A-Jet on either OMAX or MAXIEM A-Jets.
