Basic CNC Machine Maintenance Checks and Cleaning

Clean swarf and coolant build up underneath telescopic covers. Seal covers according to specifications.

Clean out coolant tanks to avoid rust and bad odours due to coolant sitting over long periods.

Apply a light layer of slideway oil to all metal surfaces (critical grinded surfaces). See the above example of a machine’s table. This will ensure your machine does not develop surface rust.

Final Tip: Ensure you do a full back up of your machine and change batteries when necessary.
