The 3 rolls move independently – the top roll moves vertically, the lower rolls horizontally – the same concept of a press brake with variable opening lower die. This operational principle renders the HAV series ideal for superior quality pre-bending, huge rolling thickness and best calibration process.
It is the preferred option due to its versatility, precision rolling to tight tolerances, and production of thick-walled cones. Generally, it is recommended for thicknesses ranging from 50 mm (2 in.) to over 300 mm (12 in.) and for job shops and heavy-duty applications.
