It’s time that we introduced some of our Headland team!

We asked each of them to answer some questions, that will hopefully provide some interesting facts about our team members. So enjoy reading about our hardworking and enthusiastic team here at Headland!

What is the most exciting part about your job?

Meeting different people nearly every day

They refer to me as Mr Fixit

Save sick children

Why did you choose this profession and what excites you the most about it?

I joined the UHP waterjet industry straight after my graduation in 1995 and started working with OMAX in 1996. I was the operator of the first ever OMAX system outside of the USA. The capabilities of this technology are astounding and having the opportunity to still be working with OMAX 20 years later is very exciting. OMAX are the industry leaders and are constantly innovating to ensure they remain so.

How many coffees do you drink in one work day?

Only two, unless it was a late night then I might sneak in a cheeky third one.

It is hard to count… Mmm.  I drink double shot coffees one at a time.

If you could choose your age forever, what age would you choose and why?

Age of 30.  Not too green, believe in yourself, everything is possible, life is full of excitement and is a good adventure.

If you could be in a movie of your choice, what movie would you choose and what character would you play?

“Somewhere in time”, what do you think, of course I am Richard

What do you listen to while you work?

The radio, currently on Kiss 101.1, but I occasionally change it up to Triple M

How many coffees do you drink in one work day?

None! But at least one tea a day

If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?

Sing…I’m totally tone deaf according to my husband, but I love music.

If you could choose your age forever. what age would you choose and why?

28, it’s on the good side of 30! And it was a really great year for me, I got married and reconnected with a couple of really great friends that I have known since I was a teenager.
