Headland Machinery headed to Tokyo for JIMTOF 2016, the 28th Japan International Machine Tool Fair.
The highly anticipated 6 day event contributes to the development of industry and trade promotion through increased international transactions and technical exchanges of machine tools and their related equipment.
JIMTOF combines both domestic and foreign manufacturers who present new products and technologies, and the world renowned trade show introduces state-of-the-art, high performance machine tools and peripherals.
The event aims to provide a platform for moving ahead towards future developments, with a strong focus on real time metrics, connectivity and Industry 4.0.
Headland Machinery representatives at JIMTOF included our Director Peter Kloe, joint Managing Directors Richard and Annaliese Kloe, along with David James, Territory Manager.
We received really positive feedback from our delegates, as listed below:
During the trip to Japan, we visited Nakamura Tome and were lucky enough to be hosted by Makino for a factory tour, which highlighted why they lead in innovation, quality and machine reliability.
JIMTOF ran from 17 November to 22 November.
